Get excited for the 20th season of the Lexington Farmers’ Market! We have loads of your favorite vendors returning with the freshest local food, from fruits and vegetables to beef and chicken, pork and lamb, and seafood too. We’ll have delicious baked goods, prepared foods and ready to eat fare, all locally grown and produced!
The Opening Day schedule, farmers, vendors, community group, artisans and musicians will be in a newsletter this weekend, but in the meantime, we wanted to let you know about the ten new farmers and vendors joining the LFM in 2024! As we search far and wide to bring new flavors and specialty food businesses to the market, we are pleased to introduce you to five of our newest vendors: My County Mushrooms, Captain Marden’s Seafood, Ovenbird Cafe, Triple Allium Flower Farm and Petsi Pies. Keep an eye out later this week for more news about additional new vendors as we get ready to open our packed and festive market season!

Volunteer Opportunities with the LFM | |
We know there are folks out there looking for ways to get involved, and volunteering with the LFM is a great way to be part of the Lexington community!
- The LFM welcomes volunteer assistance with market operations that take place outside of the market hours. This includes working on issues related to food equity and food insecurity, sustainability, outreach to local organizations and more. We would love to have you bring your knowledge and passion about local food and food equity to the LFM.
- LHS students love to help at the market after school and over the summer, helping to greet customers, assist with SNAP transactions, conduct surveys, and support set-up and break-down of the market. This is a great community service opportunity for students and a hands on way to learn about local food!
Come make a difference in your community! For more information, visit the LFM Volunteers page on our website or email [email protected].
