LFM Board of Directors and Staff

The Lexington Farmers’ Market is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors from the Lexington community; the Market Manager runs the daily operation of the LFM and works closely with the board. The Lexington Farmers’ Market is a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Leslie Wilcott-Henrie

President

Leslie Wilcott-Henrie spearheaded the LFM’s formation as a nonprofit organization in 2016, and has served as Board President since then. Her interest in seasonal, local food started at an early age, growing into a passion for cooking and focus on the growth and challenges facing the local food movement. She has been a market volunteer since 2006, initially joining the LFM to share news through writing and photography. Leslie’s work with the LFM focuses on food, farming and food justice, and she continues to share the good news about farmers’ markets in every medium possible.

Linda Lee

Treasurer

As Treasurer, for over 10 years Linda Lee has been an active member of the LFM Board. Her interests include rock climbing, gardening, knitting and sustainability. Working closely with the Market Manager, she helps to ensure the Lexington Farmers’ Market operates responsibly with integrity. Keen on supporting local food and sustainable agriculture, there’s a good chance of seeing her shopping at the LFM on Tuesdays!

Adrian Leone

Artisan Coordinator

Adrian Leone has been an enthusiastic volunteer for the Lexington Farmers’ Market since 2007. She has been part of the Artisans’ Tent committee since its inception, seeking out local artisans and managing their participation at the market. Since childhood, Adrian has been interested in food, where it comes from and cooking. She is now a passionate supporter of the local food movement. She joined the board of the Lexington Farmers’ Market in 2016.

Linda Arnow

Board Of Health Liaison

Linda has been the LFM Public Health Liaison since 2007. Having grown up and then chosen to raise her own family in Lexington, Linda greatly values the sense of community found here. She credits her mother as saying “a colorful plate is a healthy meal” and she is grateful that her parents were able to provide healthy meals on a limited budget. Linda is firmly committed to the LFM mission of providing access for all community members, regardless of income level, to fresh and locally grown and produced food.

Geoff Keith

Entertainment Coordinator

Geoff Keith began volunteering with the Lexington Farmers’ Market in 2013 and joined the board in 2016. Prior to that he was a consultant in the field of energy and environment. His passion for the environment and local food was born running around in the woods as a kid and later teaching outdoor skills on backpacking courses in the Rockies and Alaska. You will see him on many market days helping make it all happen.

Kim O’Brien

Market Manager

Kim O’Brien began managing the Lexington Farmers’ Market in 2023, after managing another local Farmers’ Market for several years. Kim pivoted from her career as an employment and labor attorney when she recognized how a lack of wellness was impacting workplaces. She sought out to learn more and obtained a certification as a Holistic Health and Nutrition Coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC. Kim manages the day-to-day operations of the market and handles farmer, vendor, and customer relations. Outside of the market, Kim is either hiking, cooking, teaching or practicing yoga, and enjoying the outdoors with her Labrador Retrievers. She encourages folks to say hello or ask questions!
