Kids Cooking Green is the Market's educational outreach program for elementary school children. It was developed and is run by Market co-founder Lori Deliso.
This program provides classes and activities introducing 5th- and 6th-grade children to the importance of eating locally grown food. Through hands-on cooking and lively classroom presentations, students learn about nutrition and the positive impact eating locally can have on the environment and their bodies.
Kids Cooking Green is being offered in the following communities: Arlington, Bedford, Dover, Lexington, Medford and Wilmington.
